Galeria Municipal do 11 – Conferência e Exposição Biblioteca Setubal

Os projetos de arquitetura apreciados pelo júri do concurso público da futura Biblioteca Pública Municipal de Setúbal estão em exposição a partir da tarde de dia 7 de Julho na Galeria Municipal do 11, em Setúbal. Uma conferência de apresentação dos quatro projetos premiados (“Jordana Tomé, Vítor Quaresma, Filipe Oliveira” | “Carrilho da Graça” | “Mónica Margarido” | “EMBAIXADA arquitectura”) terá lugar às 15h00, antecedendo a abertura oficial da exposição, sessão que conta com as presenças da presidente da Câmara Municipal de Setúbal, Maria das Dores Meira, e do presidente do Conselho Directivo Regional Sul da Ordem dos Arquitetos, Rui Alexandre.

The architectural designs accepted by the jury of Setúbal new Public Library Competition will be on display from July the 7 at the Municipal Gallery 11 in Setúbal. A conference of the four winning projects (“Jordana Tomé, Vítor Quaresma, Filipe Oliveira” | “Carrilho da Graça” | “Mónica Margarido” | “EMBAIXADA arquitectura”) will precead, at 3pm, the official opening of the exhibition session, counting on the presence of the Mayor of Setúbal, Maria das Dores Meira, and the President of the Southern Regional Association of Portuguese Architects, Rui Alexandre.

Tile Award Symposium 2013

A convite da Agrob Buchtal, a EMBAIXADA esteve nos passados dias 27-29 Junho em Regensburg e Schwarzenfeld a tomar parte no simpósio “Standard vs. Custom-made”. A reflexão apresentada pela EMBAIXADA foi escolhida por um júri internacional como uma das vencedoras do simpósio juntamente com as apresentações de Chris Precht e de Agata Wozniczka. O programa da edição deste ano contou com os seguintes convidados:

Turismo de Portugal recently launched a new guide, "Contemporary Portugal" where one may find “Casa dos Cubos” a project from EMBAIXADA. "The Contemporary Portugal Guide highlights four areas related to contemporary and innovation: Architecture and Contemporary Art, Design and Events. In the Architecture selection, the Portuguese Architects Guild invited Pedro Campos Costa who elected 40 sites demonstrating the vitality and quality of the current Portuguese architecture - public and private spaces of different uses but of intense experiences."

O projecto de concepção das futuras instalações da nova Biblioteca Pública de Setúbal apresentado a concurso pela EMBAIXADA foi seleccionado entre as 127 candidaturas (99 nacionais e 28 internacionais) como Menção Honrosa. Da lista de Premiados constam o atelier “Jordana Tomé, Vítor Quaresma, Filipe Oliveira” classificado em 1º lugar, o Arq.
